Brian Michael Bendis is anAmericancomic bookwriter and artist. He has won fiveEisner Awardsfor both his creator-owned work and his work on variousMarvel Comicsbooks. WithBill JemasandMark Millar, Bendis was the primary architect of theUltimate MarvelUniverse, launching Ultimate Spider-Man in 2000.
