Synopsis

You dont have to be a star to shine.Sae has always been taller and stronger than the average girl. Koki used to be smaller and weaker than the average boy. But now that hes in high school, hes tall and super popular! Will their childhood friendship rekindleand maybe develop into something more?Now that Sae knows Koki has a crush on someone, she tries to transform her romantic feelings for him into platonic ones. Luckily, there are lots of school activities to distract her, from a field trip in the mountains to a jump rope tournament to an English-language theater festival. But when a texting disaster reveals to Koki that Sae has a crush on someone too, will she finally confess her feelings?

About The Author

Kazune Kawahara made her debut in 1991 with the manga series His Favorite Person. In 1996, after publishing several one-shot manga, she began her next series, Sensei! (Teacher!), which was adapted into a live-action movie in 2017. In 2003, she launched the critically acclaimed series High School Debut, followed by Aozora Yell (Blue Sky Yell) in 2008. High School Debut was made into a live-action movie in 2011. In 2013, her series My Love Story!! ranked first in Takarajimashas This Manga Is Great! competition (josei category) and won Kodanshas 37th Manga Award (shojo category). In 2015, My Love Story!! was made into a TV anime and a live-action movie.
